Silver State Towing

Corrupt, rude, and childlike business owner! Horrible experience with the office of Silver State Towing. My car was totalled in an accident and towed to SST for storage until my insurance could take it for adjusting. The insurance was waiting on me to clean out my belongings before they took it to Reno. SST denied me access to my car 3 times, delaying for storage fees. The 3rd time I went to their business to finally get my stuff out, the business owner jumped out of his desk chair and came at me when I wanted to take my hitch off my car. Both of the insurance companies involved in the accident told me I could take it if I hadn't signed a total loss form yet, and I had never been in this situation before, so I went with what they said. Instead of explaining his side of the situation to me, the SST owner was in my face, demeaning, and aggressive towards me. He called me "a victim" a several times in a nasty voice. Then when my usually calm and logical husband stood up for me against this behavior, the SST owner denied me access to my car. My son had to come get my stuff out, leaving work early from Reno. Although my son called before he came to Gardnerville, the business owner didn't tell him he needed a signed authorization form from me to access my car. So when he was in the office at SST, he asked for a piece of paper from them to write the authorization on, and the owner told him, "we don't have paper". Corrupt, rude, and childlike business owner. They eventually got 6 or 7 days storage fees from my car, that should've only been 1 day. Wish I could give SST negative stars!

Considerate and very quick with helping me they were there in 10 mins to help with my roadside assist. Plus the fee was reasonable, affordable. The tow person knew exactly what needed to be done and resolved the issue very quickly. I locked my keys in the car away from home and in a different State and City.

The worst towing company I have ever dealt with. If you get into an accident, DO NOT let these clowns take your vehicle. Terrible customer service, inexperienced tow truck drivers, and just an all around awful excuse of a company. My client …
